I am just going to say that everyone at this office was nice and efficient. The office was nice and clean. My only problem is “why don’t they make appointments for you to follow up. Why do you have to call weekly on Wednesday from 4:30-5:00.
I mean this is 2024, when you work and don’t get off until 5:00. I really don’t understand why Cherokee Nation doesn’t do something that is up to date like online scheduling. The thing is health care is a part of our Indian rights, but often times when you try to use some of our Indian services they make you feel like you are less than. Why is that? Despite the odd process of a specific day/time to make an appointment, and then having it only be an x-ray/exam appt for you to then make another appointment to actually do the work on another day….I want to say this. In my experience, because they had time, I was able to have x-ray’s, an exam, and have my cleaning all in the same day. I cannot say if this would always be the case. Probably not if they were busier. But also, it is free and I cannot be more thankful for that, especially right now in this economy. So keep that in mind when you’re inconvenienced by their process. The clinic in Jay is the best. I’ve been going to San Hider for many years and have seen changes. The medical director, Dr. McCaully’s leadership has brought the clinic up to par with patients and in waiting rooms and in the halls. Everyone from medical to pharmacy to the eye clinic cares about the patients and their medical care. Very proud of the staff and the doctors who have helped get the clinic ?. Way to go Sam Hider!
