While the clinic does not offer a 24-hour emergency line, staff do their best to assist during working hours. We have taken our dog there. They always were happy to see her. They treated us appropriately. The complaint I have is that there is no 24 hours emergency line. I think he stops taking emergency calls after 10:00 or 10:30pm.
I thought I was going to have to put my old man Bentley down last Saturday. I’ve been to Whaetland twice within the last year for him coughing uncontrollably. He was given steroids only and it didn’t work. The older doc that was on duty Saturday (I wish I knew his name) said, his mouth was infected and gave him antibiotics, a steroid shot, and said to give him Benadryl twice a day. Guess what???? He’s fine. No coughing, and happy as can be. Thank you so much!!!
This is the best vet clinic I’ve been to. I’ve had 2 emergency vet visits the past couple months. All of the staff have been so nice to my dog, despite how much of a pain in the butt he is to even give a simple shot. I appreciate the patience and care my dog has received.
