Milt and his team should be at THE TOP of any search. Our AC died on August 29/2023 in the middle of our triple digit heat wave. I called the "company" I USED to trust, but have had doubts about in the past two years as their younger crew had made mistakes. They said my old R-22 compressor was bad and tried to upsell me. I asked about the capacitor and hard start, but they said those were good and the compressor was just shot. I asked the "company" if they could just replace the old compressor and put in Bluon or some of the approved R-22 replacements and they said it wouldn't work, it would gum up the system and the price would be so close to a replacement system. I don't have $10,000. Called Milt at American Refrigeration. HE on the other hand stated that there is no problem with (427a??) and that he could do the job for under $3000. With his honesty in mind, I asked him to come out and also give me an estimate for a new system. While scoping the house, HE tested the capacitor and IT WAS BAD!!! He replaced it and now we're back to feeling civilized! Anyone reading this, good old-fashioned professionals who take care of the community are hard to find. I honestly didn't think they existed anymore. Thank the Lord I scrolled down a bit further in the Enid HVAC search and found American Refrigeration & Heating.
