We were quoted $775 to prepare personal taxes and told that we would be made aware of any changes to the cost as they worked through our taxes. Two weeks after our taxes were filed, we received and invoice for ~$2,200 - over 3x the quoted cost. There was poor communication throughout the entire process and we caught a pretty significant error they made when reviewing the final tax documents. We were especially shocked, though, with the final cost and extremely frustrated that they didn't communicate any price changes with us as promised.
