“I've been going here for a long time, never had any trouble and I think they are the most affordable place around. Every time they've given me a itemized receipt which I really appreciate, I like to know just how much I'm paying and what I'm paying for. And they've never given me any grief on getting the shots and giving them to my dog myself, because it's not always easy bringing a country Dog to town.“

“I’m Dr Denney. I’m very fortunate to have been in our practice between Drumright and Cushing for 44 years. We have many wonderful clients, many I’ve known for 4 generations. I have a wonderful assistant, Paula, who truly cares about animals and people. We aren’t perfect but we care and always try to do our best. Regarding emergencies, I try to be available for our clients. I practice by myself so that is challenging. My emergency number is on our answering machine after hours. I believe it is my responsibility to care for animals and clients who have chosen us to be their veterinarian during office hours as well as emergencies. I expect other veterinarians to do the same. Some veterinarians don’t provide after hour care for their patients. After 47 years of practice, I’ve made the decision to care for emergencies for my regular clients only, ie. I see their animals during the day on a routine basis. I like my work and plan to continue to practice for several years and this decision will help me continue to do so. Our Practice Act, the code of conduct under which the state of Oklahoma licenses veterinarians and requires us to practice, states that if we have a client-patient relationship with some one we are to provide or arrange for after hour care for our patients. I try to do this, though occasionally I’m out of state on a family trip. I answer my phone on those occasions. I say all this to explain our efforts to care for our clients and patients. If your veterinarian does not provide for after hour emergencies I hope you will talk to him/her about it. Thank you.“
