“I have a 1970 home that was in dire need of updating. After calling five other contractors, four being local to Altus, JAM was the only one that returned with an estimate and wanted to take on the job. The kitchen was masterfully done. Jake and his crew custom built the cabinets, installed solid surface counter-top/sink, complete tavertine back-splash, and tiled the floor. They removed the old style separating wall giving the kitchen and dining room an open concept/feel. They were able to complete my request of improving the utilization of space in the kitchen. I have since moved into a larger house in the Charleston, SC area and was only able to find one house with a kitchen that compared to the one JAM construction built, the only reason for this was it was a model/show home. They moved on to completely renovating the two bathrooms in the house with full shower wall tile with convenient recessed shelving, new fixtures and solid surface counter, sink, and custom poured shower pan. Any discrepancy that I found Jake was responsive to remedy the outcome and was courteous. For the most part JAM was timely in completing the projects. When it comes to cost JAM is probably not the cheapest contractor in town however, for the workmanship and result it is money well spent and you certainly get what you pay for. It was a pleasure having JAM construction do what I didn't have the time/skill to accomplish on my own. Jake handled the added difficulty well of having to consult with my wife over the phone who was 4 states away from the project at the time.“
