I have been seeing Diana here at Poppy for a couple of years now. She is amazing! I have curly hair and get nervous for haircuts. Diana had a great eye for the overall shape and listens and addresses my concerns without ever making me feel bad. That is a huge deal for me! She also is a wizard with color and gives you the perfect color for you. Poppy is one of the cutest salons I’ve ever been in as well. Very welcoming and comfortable and feels well thought out in its design. Skin by Chesiree is also located here and she has done lash lifts and eye brow waxes for me. She is fantastic and does not just wax away your whole eyebrow lol. Highly recommend!

I was traveling through Altus and was scrolling Google maps and I liked the photo, so I called and the owner (Scott) seemed really friendly so I went to the Men’s groom shop and got one of the best haircuts I’ve had in years! Oh and the price was a bargain!

I just figured since I have gone to several gyms in Altus, I should probably show appreciation to my most favorite gym. Very clean and well taken care of gym and equipment. Equipment is well maintained and there are tons of things to use for all workouts. Red light beds, tanning beds always clean and well maintained as well as very informative posters for people who have never used or know little about them. Gym provides all things needed to clean equipment after use. 24 hour gym. Excellent owner who is ready and willing to answer any and all questions. Extremely awesome price for as much work as he puts into this place.

Overall a fantastic experience. We had a reasonable quote drafted quickly with a thorough explanation of all that was involved. The install team showed up promptly and did expert work - Rick’s technique is truly a no-mess install. Very little disturbance was done to my lawn. The grass is regrowing very quickly! The system works and is tuned perfectly and the customer service was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Blue had huge wound.
He seen doctor 4 times to stretch skin and close it. This journey took from October 21st 2022 to November 3rd 2022. Fingers crossed he leaves it alone this time. She has that healing touch. Blue came home a Happy Hound today.

I had a full knee replacement here. The surgeon was Dr. Pickett. From the minute I walked through the door I was treated like a king. As if I was the only one there that day. I know this hospital gets a bad rap a lot but that is purely anecdotal evidence. In my experience with medical care, 99% of bad experience is patient induced. The entire 4th floor staff are amazing. Too many to name but I would compare them to any hospital with a 5star rating. If I ever need another knee I'll be coming back here.

The materials were properly ordered. The two man team, Chris and Beau, who came to install the carpet were very professional, courteous and careful when moving carpet and padding into the house, moving furniture and keeping doors closed to keep bugs out and air conditioning in.
BWC was very helpful during the sales process and scheduling the installation. I highly recommend them!

When I transfer from Lawton to Altus for work I had a hard time finding the right place to take my dogs in Altus. The two places I tried before Ruff Grooming just wasn’t a great fit for me. I love how great my dogs look after each appointment and how they contact me to make sure what they want to do is something I’m ok with if we didn’t previously discuss it.
The Razors Edge is the best barber shop in town. Everyone working there is skilled and you'll leave happy. I always go to Brian because he gets my beard perfect every time. Family owned and operated since it was established.
I got a manicure and pedicure and was happy with the experience. I waited about 20 minutes to be seen and had a kind employee. He did an amazing job on my pedicure and did a wonderful job on my French tips for my manicure. I didn’t talk at all because I wasn’t feeling the greatest, but he didn’t seem to mind and didn’t pry at all. I definitely would recommend. Total with a 20% tip was about 145. I got an upgraded pedicure and a regular manicure, both with gel.

I have a 1970 home that was in dire need of updating. After calling five other contractors, four being local to Altus, JAM was the only one that returned with an estimate and wanted to take on the job. The kitchen was masterfully done. Jake and his crew custom built the cabinets, installed solid surface counter-top/sink, complete tavertine back-splash, and tiled the floor. They removed the old style separating wall giving the kitchen and dining room an open concept/feel. They were able to complete my request of improving the utilization of space in the kitchen. I have since moved into a larger house in the Charleston, SC area and was only able to find one house with a kitchen that compared to the one JAM construction built, the only reason for this was it was a model/show home. They moved on to completely renovating the two bathrooms in the house with full shower wall tile with convenient recessed shelving, new fixtures and solid surface counter, sink, and custom poured shower pan. Any discrepancy that I found Jake was responsive to remedy the outcome and was courteous. For the most part JAM was timely in completing the projects. When it comes to cost JAM is probably not the cheapest contractor in town however, for the workmanship and result it is money well spent and you certainly get what you pay for. It was a pleasure having JAM construction do what I didn't have the time/skill to accomplish on my own. Jake handled the added difficulty well of having to consult with my wife over the phone who was 4 states away from the project at the time.
