we have been using the services at Family Eye Care of Wooster, since I moved here in 2008. I never needed glasses , until a few years ago.They are accomodating, I like the fact that I can simply drop in, and see a human to make an appointment.As you know, in our modern day age, computerized robot phone systems prevail......FACE to face, personal relationship for all my Eye care needs, is what I appreciate.

My husband and I have been going here for years. Took my youngest here for the first time. He was not having it. Had decided on the drive over he was "NOT having them look at my eyes. I'm going to be with you." I was mortified. There was no amount of discussion/bribery, that would make him open his eyes (not even the movie helped, whereby he also covered his ears). The MD was incredibly nice about it. At the end, although he never did open his eyes and no part of the exam was completed, she assured me it was ok and next year would be better. She has a gentle and warm bedside manner. Couldn't have more nice things to say about her.

I've worn glasses for seventy years and have seen many docs in that time. Dr. Lauf is the most knowledgeable, responsive, and compassionate I have seen. Everyone in the office is skilled and friendly. My husband, kids, and grandkids go to FEC for our eye care needs. (Full disclosure: I've known the doc for many years--but she is truly the best!)
