“I've been teaching lessons at Musicologie for about three years. I'm probably biased, but I think it's a wonderful studio for lessons on just about any instrument you can think of. Teachers cater their lessons to the learning style of each student. Lessons are fun and engaging! If you're looking for lessons on an instrument for your child, give it a try!“
“These classes and teachers are just the best! It is not even just about the weekly classes - you get a wonderful collection of songs that find their way into all aspects of you and your child's day over the semester. The music selections are culturally and musically diverse and not at all annoying like some kids music can be. Cannot recommend enough!“
“I started taking lessons with Travis last fall after my son challenged me to learn how to play guitar. I am a true beginner with no music background and was nervous and unsure of what to expect. Travis made me feel comfortable from day one and is patient with my learning process and all of my questions. The online menu he uses for scheduling classes, allows me the flexibility to schedule classes at various times during the week and the choice of selecting areas of instruction that he or I feel would be most beneficial. I highly recommend OGA.“
“My mother played piano and enrolled me in The Conservatory of Piano as a small child. I took lessons until I graduated high school. It was a wonderful experience. I enrolled both of my daughters when they were 3 years old. As a parent, it has been amazing to see them grow in both technical skills and confidence. The staff always make practice and performance fun. The kids have been able to have the experience of performing in an auditorium setting, guided by seasoned performers, which is a BIG experience. There are advantages of going to the conservatory over the private in-home lessons: there is a structure to each lesson, even if a teacher moves on, we have the utmost confidence in Miss Popper and Mr. Van Sickle’s high standards. The staff all teach with the same methodology, and we are always paired with teachers that best match the student temperament. My girls have had the advantage of having learned a unique skill in a consistent, super-fun, stable, flexible and loving environment. Sometimes, when I hear them play, it amazes me. Learning at the conservatory has taught them to persevere, to express themselves musically, to form bonds with teachers and to appreciate, empathize with and respect other students. They have even done performances to raise money for charities. What our girls have learned goes far beyond the lesson. Thank you, COP and staff!“
“We love having our 7 year old take piano from Lora! It’s amazing how much progress he has made with her in a short amount of time. Lora teaches proper technique, which is very important to us, and she does a great job keeping students engaged and motivated. While I was skeptical of group lesson at first, it has been great for building confidence and developing performance skills in a low risk environment. Lora is very accessible and doesn’t mind answering questions during the week. She has brought so much joy into our home through music. We highly recommend her both as a piano teacher and a person!“
“We highly recommend Brennan Music Studio! My kids (7&9) love going to lessons and have learned more than I could imagine in just a few short months! I am so impressed with their teacher Maddie! The kids love showing off their new skills at home and seem to increase their music knowledge with every lesson! Worth every penny!“
“Miljan is spectacular! He’s been working with my 9 yo (voice lessons). He’s encouraging and patient with her which has helped her gain more confidence. Additionally, he has worked with our crazy schedule this summer. I highly recommend Belcanto Voice and Music Studio!“
“We enjoyed the music performance. It was short, sweet, and to-the-point. There was a healthy mixture of young and old pianists , simple and complex music pieces. Our whole family spoke of how well organized everything was.“
“A nice music school with some sass. The instructors appear to take a genuine interest in the music their students want to learn to play which of course make lessons fun for the student. This is evident at the recitals. The last recital I attended featured violins, harps, pianos, guitars, and vocalists. I think there was even a ukulele (sp?). We moved some distance away from the school this past summer, and while there are other music schools much closer to us, we make the commute once a week because its worth it.“
“Karl is the deal. I couldn't imagine a more amazing coach. Karl is a true professional who seems to teach me how to play better every lesson. After 6 months of playing guitar I am truly better - His direction has been responsible.“
“I have taken guitar lessons with Kevin Holland and found him to be incredibly patient and flexible! He is a gifted guitarist and can provide transcription of a favorite song. I have also taken piano lessons with Jen Dutiel. She provides great insight on new music to try, and is endlessly encouraging! I highly recommend both of these great musicians as excellent teachers!“
“I’ve learned so much from Steven Fox. Wouldn’t trade the experience for all the other music lessons I’ve had in life!“
“Me and my 8 year old has had such a great experience here! Louis is her piano teacher and he is SO good with her as she has adhd and requires extra patience and he is amazing with her!She has only been doing this for maybe just over a month and she is learning so fast she can't stop boasting how she just played her first song by herself! We love it here and she always says she can't wait to come back!Katie & Emmalynn“
“Encore hires top-notch teachers and I was extremely happy with my vocal lessons. I improved my singing technique, learned new skills to strengthen my voice, grew confidence and found joy in my weekly lessons and practice. The price point is great and I appreciate the multiple locations.“
