Fresenius Medical Care at Regency Hospital Cleveland East

This hospital is a joke! My husband case manager Michelle Blevins couldn’t find home health care for him during a three week span. My primary dr makes one phone call and viola! We have home health care! His dirty bedding wasn’t picked up out of his room for four days, I would get there to see him and he would smell, laying in soiled sheets! Oh, and Michelle the case worker said she couldn’t find anyone because he had a wound vac, but again another bunch of bs! They just wanted him there until January 3rd, when the insurance said it was time for him to leave. Disgusting place! Not sure how some of the staff sleeps at night knowing what’s happening there. When I tell several people medical professionals included of my families recent experience they reply “ oh we could have told you that we already knew that wasn’t a good place “ Im spreading the word to save your families grief . One mistake after another including dietary mistakes withholding food , withholding pain meds - doctor not wanting to give her anything for pain until a hospice consult wasn’t she in your care until we signed or didn’t for hospice to take over , not following up with surgeon / wound clinic , after I shared photos with the surgeon she immediately called... read full review

They lack good communication with the patients and the families. They are understaffed. Seem like a majority of the RN's are agency nurses. The nursing assistants often take an inordinate amount of time to attend to their patients. Dietary has screwed up numerous times with my wife's meals. she even received a yogurt for breakfast that was 2 full weeks PAST the expiration date.
