I was really happy with how everything went! This was the first time I had gotten my blood taken in around 10 years, India was who helped me (highly recommend) and I didn't even feel the needle! I had a lot of stress building up before the appointment so after all the blood was drawn I did feel woozy and ended up passing out. Luckily my husband was with me and carried me to the other room to lay down while I was out. I just have the say this staff was INCREDIBLE! They jumped right into action to help me and brought me water, fanned me, ice packs, you name it! I felt so embarrassed afterwards and this team really reassured me. I've had to get blood work and glucose tests many times over the years and have visited several CompuNet locations, but I've always had the most success at the Troy location. The employees are all friendly and the phlebotomists do a good job with my one teeny usable vein.
I always have a pleasant experience when I go. They are very reassuring and help ease your fears. They are also friendly and personable. The new sign in procedure is harder for the older adults to understand and I've had to help some frequently as I was sitting there waiting to go back. They might need someone at the desk to ensure the older folks are getting taken care of and getting questions answered when logging in.
