Kaylee was very nice and did a great job. She was polite and beautiful as well as very up lifting of your spirit.
Requested style: I said a picture and she went to work. A charming personality as well.
All the hair stylists that have cut my hair have did a fantastic job. I’m in the Air Force and have been getting my hair cut there for years. Thanks Tipp City girls!Service: Haircut
Location: 972 W Main Street, Tipp City Ohio (Tipp City Plaza) Website: www.greatclips.com Headquarters: Minneapolis, MN Hours: see website Menu: see website for full list of services After 40-ish years of scheduling my own hair cuts I have found myself living more than an hour from my stylist (thanks, Covid). In desperate need of a cut - nearly 1 year after my last haircut (thanks again, Covid) - I realized if I was desperate enough to either a) do it myself or b) hand the scissors to my 8-yr old grandson, it was time for a more sensible approach. Enter Great Clips. I've been aware of these "fast" service salons for years but never considered using one until now. On a fateful Saturday morning, I downloaded their app and once I spotted a "0 minute wait" estimate, stopped by for a quick, simple trim. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes - thanks to their no frills approach. You can most certainly add a shampoo and style, but I really just needed a trim to not hate my hair. The stylist gave me a quick consultation where we established she would take about an inch off the style (a grown out elongated bob that had "bobbed" too far past my shoulders) - and she did precisely this direction. Perfectly. The change was subtle and I realized why I had been delaying with my regular stylist - she never listens to what I request and does what she wants. It's always too short and I have to spend 2 months hating my hair before it grows to the length I wanted. When is it a good time to hate your hair for 2 months? Hence, the 11-ish month delay. Back to my Great Clips experience. This was a last minute choice, so I skipped the add-on services and went with just the simple cut. You can't beat the price. $18 for a woman's cut. You can add on shampoo and/or blow out for a nominal additional fee - which I would absolutely consider in the future. I got exactly what I asked for from my stylist. I asked for about an inch trimmed and she did precisely this. If anything, I could have gone a bit shorter - butI figure I'll return every 4-5 weeks and take another inch off until I am happy with the length and then I can continue every 6 (ish) weeks and remove the 1/4" of growth. Simple. Tips: 1. If you want a complicated hairstyle, I am not sure how to advise you. The stylists all appear to be skilled - but I would highly recommend this salon if you have a simple hairstyle. There is no official way to rebook with the same stylist so you're kind of at the mercy of who is available -which could make maintaining a complicated hairstyle, well... complicated. 2. Download the app; it makes checking in very easy. 3. Be prepared to give specific direction (short in back, long in front, remove 1 inch overall, etc) - take a photo of your desired style.
