I hired Theis Services to replace my water main line and valve. They responded to my message quickly, came out and gave me a good estimate and some good advice -- including the fact that I might not actually need to replace the main line. The valve was really old and I decided to replace the main line anyway for peace of mind. When digging out the old line they discovered it was only 3 feet deep instead of 4. So they dug deeper and put the new line in at the correct depth, drilled a new hole lower in the basement wall, patch the old hole inside and out and did an very professional job of replacing the old screw-type valve with a sturdy new ball valve.
