I don’t know how I coped until I met the wonderful women at FPV - well, I do - I had only been wearing glasses a few years until I discovered this magical place! My experience as a wearer of glasses improved exponentially after meeting Dr. Prinstein and Lisa B.! They each show so much concern, and take such care of each person’s vision. My spouse and I both go there. Dr. Prinstein discovered something in my spouse’s retinas that had gone un-addressed his whole life. She insisted he see a specialist immediately, and got him an appointment within the hour! We both feel eternally grateful, and impressed! He now sees the specialist regularly. I can’t ever thank Lisa B. enough for her patience, and sense of humor, in dealing with me! Since I started wearing glasses fairly late in life, I’m afraid I was Resistant to the whole idea, and to any change. With Lisa’s patience, now I always have glasses that fit perfectly, allow me to see perfectly, and that I feel are fun to wear. I spend a lot of time reading, and sometimes writing, and the right glasses improve the quality of my life almost beyond my belief. There are pictures of people in glasses all around FPV. If you look at them, you will see that the glasses perfectly fit the face of each wearer. It’s amazing. When I see the glasses Lisa B. has helped my spouse and my friends to find, I am in awe of her ability to suit the shape of the frames to the shape of their faces, and to their individual personalities.
