Matt at Black River Radon is simply amazing. We had a large spike of radon in our home over the last few months, and knew it was time to get this taken care of. We had a couple companies come out and quote a system and method of installation. Matt was by far the most thorough, detailed, and friendly. He laid out a detailed plan of installation, and everything was easy to understand. His website says that you will be treated like family, and it was true.
Matt was at our property all day, working hard for the install. He sealed everything up perfectly (using far more caulk for our cracks that I would have thought!), and expertly installed the system. He kept us apprised of his status, and we knew what was going on throughout the day. He laid out tarps in our walkways to not make a mess in our home. The system is really is out of the way, cleanly installed and not an impediment to movement in the home. He even explained and made certain to position the removal pipe further away from windows, which was not the case with other companies consulted. And cleanup was perfect; one would never know he was even here.
Before our new system, our radon numbers were up around 10. Now with less than 2 days after our install, our average for today has been .21... have NEVER seen it this low. And it's getting less every time I check. See picture for proof
