“Absolutely loved my experience. I got a sugar wax and usually I'm a bit anxious when getting anything waxed but Amari did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable and welcome. My brows were done amazingly she shaped them before hand using a stencil technique, and actually did my brows to my face shape and not just her own preference. She went over and above making sure she got clean lines, and even did my upper lip too! I would say if you have very sensitive skin just let her know, but my skin is pretty tough so I told her to rip that stuff out! Over all an amazing experience l, will definitely be coming back!“

“I love getting services from Gift of Beauty! I have had several services performed by Mary and I have to say she’s amazing. It’s not just a visit for me, it’s an experience! From the time you walk in the door, you are greeted warmly and given options for refreshments. You are then escorted to the relaxation room to take a breather, which is refreshing because as a Mom, moments of peace are needed. Once you are in the relaxation room, you can change and are given a nice robe to slip into. Once you’ve been given the opportunity to take a moment to yourself, you then are escorted to begin your services.

The whole experience was absolutely wonderful. My stylist, Bettina, (who has cut my aunt, her son, and my brother’s hair in the past) was a kind, honest woman. She made me feel better about my hair situation and gave me by far my favorite haircut I’ve ever had in a short amount of time. I came in on a Friday (the day of our appointment) late because of traffic. Even though I was late she still agreed to cut my hair, and she did an absolutely amazing job. If I had to recommend you go to one salon for the rest of your life, go to Pinnokios. The location is a repurposed flower shop, and the area as a whole is super cool! If I could give this shop more than 5 stars, I would. Another unexpected bonus is the salon is down the road from Shake It Records!
