“I was using one of those sweater shavers on one of my absolute favorite sweaters and the shaver nicked two holes right in the front. It looked pretty bad and I figured I was going to have to throw it out but I decided to try to see if someone could fix it for me. I saw this place on my drive home from work one day and decided to give it a shot. I thought alterations were just for hemming pants and making dresses etc...I had no idea they could fix ruined sweaters. The lady looked at my sweater for a bit and then said she could fix it. I’ve had alterations done in the past elsewhere and the item looked worse than when I brought it in so I didn’t have much hope. Imagine my surprise when I went back one week later and the sweater looked brand new. I searched every inch of that thing and couldn’t find any evidence there had ever been any damage. I don’t how she did it but she managed to save the sweater. The best part is she only charged me $16. It would have been a bargain at three times the price as this sweater was one my favorites. I went to a different alterations shop in Rocky River last year where they charged me $35 just to fix a broken zipper on a standard zip up hoodie! If you need work done on your clothing I would highly recommend this place. It’s nothing fancy and there doesn’t seem to be any other workers but the one lady but none of that matters if the job gets done well. She also appears to make covid masks that are very nice looking. “I needed a bridesmaid dress taken in, it was about a size too big. I came in on a Thursday and he had it ready for me on Monday. The changing room is a little small and the door doesn't lock but Dario knows what he's doing. He even made a recommendation not to alter the dress further when I mentioned I wanted it shorten. The dress fits beautifully and I'm glad I didn't take any length off. I don't know what it typically costs to get a dress altered but $20 cash and I was out the door.“

Before and after pics are shown.Although another tailor refused to alter the shirt because of the stitching, Victor understood exactly what I wanted and he delivered in a reasonable amount of time. I was happy with the results and will likely return.Victor does ask for half the cost up front, and only accepts cash or check, no cards. Reasonable policies, but new customers may be caught off guard, so be prepared when stopping in.“
