“I have to admit I wasn’t looking forward to a total kitchen renovation after a disappointing bathroom redo a few years back (with a different company). However, I was wrong. Big Bear was an absolute pleasure to work with. They excel at communications; we received a weekly update throughout the renovation process. We knew each day which of Big Bear’s team would be on site and what they would accomplish while here. All of the workers arrived on time (by 8am); they were pleasant, customer-focused, and did quality work.

Kirk Hartung was awesome. He helped us with design ideas and was great at problem solving situations with our century home?. If any problems arose, we were confident Big Bear would make it right…and they did. Our new kitchen is fantastic - done on time (if not ahead of schedule) and within budget.

Jamie answered all of our questions and explained why he made certain decisions based on our space. Jennifer W. came up with the perfect layout and was a huge help in the design and selection process. The job started on time and stayed on schedule. I doubted they would be able to complete it in the time estimated because the competitive quotes I received from other contractors were estimating almost twice as long. Imperial's time estimate was correct and even though COVID 19 hit at the end of the project, they made sure that I had a fully functioning kitchen and the job was done and they were out of the house. I was especially pleased that that they were able to stay on budget. My next project is the master bathroom and I look forward to doing that project with Imperial as well.“

They added on a third car garage for us in 2017, and most recently (2024) they completely renovated our master bathroom and our hallway bathroom. They have been excellent to work with from start to finish! Kristie, our designer, listened to what we wanted in both bathrooms, and helped us come up with design ideas. Our project manager, Chris, kept us informed with weekly emails about what to expect the following week, and was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. They showed up on time everyday and if there was ever a schedule change, we were notified beforehand. Chris, Kevin, Lyle and Brad, etc did excellent work and cleaned up after themselves daily.
