Was referred to Josh at Ohio Stump to get some trees down. He decided to send his co-worker, partner not sure what he is but his name was Milton with Tree Gods Service. Apparently they work together. Milton quoted my 3k, They started the job got my money and then left and never came back. Milton blames Josh at Ohio Stump and Josh refuses to take my calls even though he had no problem taking my money. Their excuse is that its Josh's moms equipment, her name is Valerie and she owns Skyline Tree service. Their whole set up is a scam, I'm out 3k and have half of a job left. They came out - did a great job on some stumps at my home. They accidentally cut a wire to my landscape lights. The contact there took accountability and said they'd get someone out right away to fix it. They never showed, then started ignoring the text messages. I then put something on facebook about this scenario, and they blocked me.Not exactly what i would call great customer service and trustworthy.

Great experience with Ohio Stump. Josh showed up with his equipment the day I called but I was not available to give the go ahead. No other company I called was nearly as responsive. He came out again soon and his price was fair and the job was done before I knew it. He also did a great job going deep to get the stump roots out of the bed I was preparing and cleaning up. He gave me some advice that probably saved the plants I was putting in...that the evergreen wood chips likely would make the soil too acidic so better to wait to plant or replace soil around plant.
