19474 Center Ridge Rd, Rocky River“I have been coming here for about 6 months and have loved my experience. I came in with a boxing background and had little to no experience with kicks, elbows, knees, and the footwork that goes with it. Alan and Alex have helped me improve my skills exponentially in such a short time and are very attentive and willing to help on an individual level with form, technique, or any questions I may have. Every class is challenging and I never leave feeling like I have more to give. The kickboxing classes are cardio and strength based and the Muay Tai classes, while still cardio and strength conducive, offer a chance to improve technique with partner work and sparring. Very appreciative that I found Riverview Martial Arts!“

5139 W 140th St, Brook Park“Great place to train! I dropped into a class unannounced to visit a friend that trains here, and Paul (the owner) was incredibly gracious and welcoming, and invited me to train. I highly recommend stopping in and giving them a try!“

19654 W 130th St, Strongsville“Been enrolled for a little over a month, and what an absolutely awesome experience so far. Every coach is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. The culture is great as well, a balance of seriousness/fun that makes training and learning the skillsets infinitely more enjoyable. Coming here has easily become a part of my routine that I look forward to the most during the week. Couldn't recommend it enough.“

17748 Pearl Rd, Strongsville“I thoroughly researched various martial arts organizations in the area for my 6-year-old son and ultimately decided on Jeff Ellis’ International Karate Center. I looked for a place that was clean and welcoming and had instructors that were experienced, patient and caring. My son enjoys the fun learning environment and has made some genuine connections with instructors and other students. I feel as if Shihan Ellis and the other instructors are personally invested in seeing their students succeed. I whole-heartedly recommend Jeff Ellis’ International Karate Center.“

4 - 9PM
760 W Bagley Rd, Berea“We are so grateful to have found a “family” at NWK! Our son and daughter have gained so much confidence and feel like they can stand up for themselves and others when necessary. The discipline and respect our children have been taught has helped them grow the past year. Everyone looks out for one another and helps support one another however they can. Tournaments are a blast, and sparring is by far a great “controlled” outlet for feisty daughter!“

21190 Center Ridge Rd #5, Rocky River“I trained at this academy for 7 years before I moved to another state. I can’t say enough good things about the atmosphere, camaraderie, values and quality of techniques taught at Rio Pro. Rio Pro is going to make you grow in many aspects of your life, help you get/stay healthy, challenge you to be a better person and appreciate others. This is a great investment to your life in general. I miss my training partners very much. Can’t wait to visit soon!“

“I was looking for another wait to try to improve my fitness level, and eventually came across Two Ravens Fencing via internet searches. As a suburbanite, I was a little wary about the location, and as a complete novice to martial arts, I was a little concerned about the degree to which I'd embarrass myself. After about a month of attendance, I feel comfortable advising anyone interested in attending that it's safe to disregard both of those concerns. Regarding safety - I attend classes on the weekends and at night. I've never felt unsafe. The parking lot is fenced, and the building is well secured. It's as safe as a facility loaded with swords can be. Regarding the novice issue - Coach Stone and his staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. There are students from a broad range of ranges - from kids to senior citizens - from a broad range of cultural backgrounds. Everyone seems tremendously welcoming. The coaching is incredibly patient. I know I'm endlessly making novice mistakes - and certainly repeating the same ones. In spite of this, the coaches let me make my mistakes, and then work to educate me so that I try to make incremental improvements. Beyond that - this is a ton of fun. It's a fantastic workout, and it teaches all kinds of coordination and situational awareness.“
