5640 Groveport Rd Unit 3, Groveport“Our 9 month old german shepard was beyond our skill set to train him and get him to listen. We called several central ohio trainers over a month and wanted to make sure that Rowdy was going to be in good hands while in "school". We chose Offleash after meeting with Carissa and we knew he was going to be treated right and learn at the same time. From the day we dropped Rowdy off, she remained in contact with us by sending updates and videos daily and we got to see his changes occuring with eaçh new video. Two weeks is a long time to be away from your companion but the reward has been amazing and we are forever grateful to Carissa and Offleash K9 for taking a chance on our rowdy boy!“

Doug was fantastic, has a wonderful inviting studio for both the dogs and the humans. Doug was very knowledgeable, caring and patient with us and our child. Not only the training but also Doug's recommendations have made ours and our puppy's life so much more enjoyable. We couldn't be happier with the results.“

1221 Stanhope Dr, Columbus“We sent our Doberman puppy (5 mo) and 4-year-old Hungarian Vizsla here together. To sauna runs it a little longer than most places, at around 5 weeks as opposed to 2:00. However, we believed that that would be far less stressful on the dogs to learn things at a more natural pace, as opposed to a forced pace. They came back with good behavior. Obviously things that we need to continue to work on with them, but the nice thing is that they come back is actual dogs that are better behaved rather than rigid military assets, haha.“

561 Short St, Columbus“My puppies evaluation went well. He's enrolled in puppy ? school! They give you a report card to tell you what he did and didn't do so combined with the puppy cams you feel a part of his learning experience. A couple downsides though: on their website, there is no puppy school package and nothing that tells you if you buy the standard package and you have a puppy then he's automatically enrolled. Also the cameras have angles that are not good and have many BIG blindspots. They only schedule tours during narrow hours which I work so one is usually not available.“

6175 Wright Rd, Canal Winchester“SUCH A WONDERFUL SHELTER - I am a foster parent for the dogs there and GiGi’s has TOP NOTCH STAFF!! So easy to work with, very friendly and a non-judgmental environment!!
I also fell in love and adopted two of my fosters! Fostering helps give a ‘trial run’ with the dogs you foster if indeed you are seeking a best friend of your own. And even if you are not seeking to adopt, you are helping so many innocent animals that desperately need a break from a shelter environment while the shelter is working with the community to find each dog their ‘forever home’.
Fostering is THE MOST REWARDING VOLUNTEER WORK in the world and it’s only a small commitment at a time. Typically only a week or two for each dog you help. Please consider it! Especially at Gigi’s!!! Top Notch rescue !!!“

406 E Main St, Columbus“We just started taking our golden retriever here a few weeks ago for daycare on the 2/week wellness plan and have had great experiences so far. He loves it and always excited to arrive and come homes pooped. They have a wonderful customer service team at the front desk , very welcoming, friendly and convenient for drop off. We tried out grooming with Heather today too and she did an amazing job (and I can be quite picky when it comes to his haircuts!) and she was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions. He will definitely be returning in the future for grooming services now too. Thank you!“

6130 Wright Rd, Canal Winchester“We took our rescue, Tillie, to Allison after two very scary attacks on other dogs in the household. We did the 2 week board and train and it has made such a difference! Not only did she teach tillie commands but also taught us how to spot and manage signs of conflict in the house (even taking time during the home visit to work with the other dog). We could not be more impressed with Tillies progress. She sent daily progress videos and was responsive to any questions we had after training was complete. If you are here checking reviews like I did because you were afraid you’d have to rehome your dog please give Allison a call! We checked with another trainer first and they said it wouldn’t work because tillie was too old.“

We were happy to see the report from the extra activity for personal time we added. The kennels looked nice and well kept. It costs a bit more than some places but our dog was safe, happy and spoiled“

“Buckeye K9 is amazing! The trainers are not only incredibly skilled, but also kind, patient, and truly passionate about what they do. Whether it’s obedience training or service dog development, they take the time to understand each dog and owner’s unique needs. The results speak for themselves — confident, well-behaved dogs and happy owners. The facility is clean, organized, and welcoming, and you can tell your dog is in great hands. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, professional training in a supportive environment!“
