“I’ve received good and attentive care here. There have been a couple doctors/nurses that didn’t explain things well but overall it has been fine. The wait has been mixed but that’s expected, I always ensure I bring something to occupy my time.“

“Treated for pretty bad sinus infection, 8 days in. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. I got seen quickly. The medical treatment was, I guess, consistent with current thinking on using lower level antibiotics.Got nasal spray and amoxicillin. Neither did me much good that I could tell.I can’t recall getting Z-pack in 20 years if ever. So I understand not over-using antibiotics. But that’s what I was looking for to kick this. If I can’t get that, I’ll probably just tough it out in future.They did do COViD test, which I appreciated.“

“The level of care they can provide and the knowledge their doctors have seems to be on a different level. After 2 visits questions we gave not had answered in the last 6 years were answered. They were answered to a degree that I have no more questions. The first time we went the doctor suggested we have a test run for a deficiency on our kids because the genetic disorder they have it’s a possibility. We had the test run on one of our kids and they were deficient. The other hospital was still going to do an MRI since it was scheduled before the referral went through. They did not see a need to test for the deficiency. They did not think it was necessary. I am not down playing the other hospital. They are still doctors and have studied to get where they are at. But Cincinnati just shows there are levels to even to doctors in specialty’s.“

“Cincinnati Children's Hospital has been the biggest blessing to some family friends of ours. Their 12 year old daughter received a bone marrow transplant at Children's Hospital Los Angeles last year. She was transferred here for a higher level of care & more specialized treatment. This team of oncology/BMT physicians is superb! They are intelligent, caring, intuitive, & intentional people. They have maximized her treatments & done a hell of a job trying to save her life! Their nursing staff on G5 is nothing short of magnificent. Every single nurse we've had has been nice, patient, informative, understanding, etc. There is nothing they can't do. They have made us feel heard, comforted, loved, & supported. This team is unparalleled. Our PT's & OT's are also patient and loving. They are so experienced that they have been able to rehabilitate her arm & her legs partially as well, after a stroke. Our girl is doing better thanks to this amazing team. Their incredible child life team threw her a 12th birthday party last week & it rocked! They went above & beyond, as if she were their own daughter. They dressed up in the theme, wrapped gifts for her, bought her a cake, & set up an incredible 5 way FaceTime on the TV for family & friends at home in California to join our birthday party. It was the most incredible day. We can't say thank you enough. We have not met one person here that we haven't liked. This hospital is a 10/10, they deserve higher recognition!
