“I recently received head spa services from Lisa S., the owner of Savvy Hair Studio located at the North Royalton Mia Salons. There are not enough adjectives to describe how absolutely amazing the head spa service was. It was an extreme hour plus massage of my hair, head, scalp, face and neck! This was better than a full body massage! My head & scalp were awaken by the head spa experience. It included aromatic steam, paraffin hand treatment with arm and massage while a relaxing waterfall was streaming on my head & hair! I would highly recommend you reaching out to Lisa at Savvy Hair Studio to book your head spa treatment. You won’t regret it! Also Lisa provides the best hair color services, treatment, cut and styling!! I’ve been a satisfied customer of Lisa’s for over 20 years! The head spa service is a new addition which I will be booking on a regular basis!!

“Very unfortunate experience for my husband. I'm grateful I did not have his experience when we went. Due to the "nature" of his experience at Spavia in Strongsville Ohio, he doesn't wish to recall it, and so asked that I write this review for him instead. Initially, the owners/managers of this establishment appeared very concerned. Even asking that he "send" his experience to them in writing, since he was to upset to express it to them at the time. We were hopeful and did so almost a month ago. We have received NO reply from them concerning his experience, to date. We were hoping to write an "updated," more positive review based on the owners/managers desire to help, and "to make it right," so they said. Sadly, we cannot. Please read on and judge for yourself... Based on Ashley’s reviews, it’s clear his experience wasn’t due to her lack of skill or knowledge, but rather her lack of enthusiasm and unwillingness to perform the service with care. Making his 60 minutes session grueling and very uncomfortable. Far below Spavia’s standards. From an excessively long and overly oily scalp effleurage "rub." It could hardly be called a scalp "massage." To the poor use of the stones, it was absolutely apparent that Ashley performed the "whole" service begrudgingly. After spending over $200, including tip, my husband left feeling stressed instead of relaxed. Maybe she was having an off day, I'm not sure, but for an establishment like Spavia — especially at this price point — the service was totally unacceptable. To say the least. I’m writing this review on his behalf, as it was such a disappointing and demeaning experience that he prefers not to relive it. To their credit, the managers immediately expressed concern and offered to make things right. Since he was unable to explain his level of disappointment at that time, the managers/owners advised him to write this review. Which we sincerely appreciated, at the time. However, their words and seeming concern for him remain, unfulfilled.“

“Rough week? Tense, stressed or exhausted? I had my first rosemary oil treatment and an extended shampoo with Justin Huba. I left boneless and so relaxed I could barely think or speak! “Got my nails done by emery here! My first time having a manicure, she was very thorough and applied all the steps, and answered my questions. My inspiration was International Strawberry Day and the transition from Winter to Spring, and she delivered! Air quality was good because we were the only people there at first, and then it stayed good when several more came in. I would love to come back!“

“I took my daughter for a basic cheap cut at another salon bc she just needed a trim and a wee undercut shaved in. The girl who took her totally butchered her!!

So I took her to Cory's bc I know people who have been long time customers. They got her back immediately, empathized, and were so incredibly kind and supportive, my daughter and I left happy and calm. She fixed the cut so the mistake blends in (it was a #1 razor so difficult) and my daughter can still wear the ponytails she enjoys.

I really truly appreciate the level of effort and communication we received at Cory's. They have a wonderful team. I was close to tears. My daughter had already cried like crazy. Sigh. I was treated with such disrespect at the other salon (she can just wear a low pony) and never received an apology. Cory's was there and totally rescued our day.
