Dr Wright is awesome! I had an issue with my shoulder. Any rotating movement was either painful or impossible. And all the overhead movements at the gym were getting worse and worse. After a few sessions, I felt my mobility return. And after a few more the strength started coming back. I really appreciated that Dr Wright took my fitness goals seriously and listened to what I needed. The whole session was focused on what I needed. He watched every movement and helped adjust me as needed. He also helped me find the right modifications for my gym workouts so that I could remain productive there. On top of that, he is super kind, funny, and easy to talk to. My expectations were exceeded at every step of the process!!
I started to look for a PT while dealing with a patella tendon injury during my Boston marathon training block. I wanted to find a PT who would build on my running foundation while helping me be able to still run Boston. I have worked with Taylor for about two months, and I have made a lot of progress in a short amount of time. I was able to still run Boston and even achieve my pre injury goal of getting a PR because he helped me continue running while strengthening my tendon. My runs have continued to improve since our first consultation. I also appreciate Taylor’s holistic approach to dealing with injury because he analyzed my running form, tailored workouts that would specifically help my running, and discussed the importance of protein intake. I was frustrated with previous doctors and PTs who had me doing the same types of exercises each session and did not spend much time on other methods that could help me get stronger. Taylor varies the workouts each session, so I am finding new ways to get stronger and help my running overall. I also get dry needling each session, and I have been happy with the additional help it provides.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Wright for neck pain and have had a great experience. The physical therapy exercises and dry needling has worked wonders towards loosening the knots, tension, and overall pain I’ve been dealing with since a car accident in 2021. He did an exceptional job at listening to my symptoms and always checks in a day or so after treatment to see how I’m doing, which speaks highly to the level of care he has for his patients. Dr. Wright’s one-on-one approach is really invaluable. I would recommend his care to any of my friends or family’s physical therapy needs.
