I've been looking for a salon in Monroe and tried this place after seeing good reviews on Google. All in all, my end result is fine, but I won't be back as there were too many odd aspects. Positives: I am satisfied with my haircut and color, and I was able to get in for an appointment very quickly. Neutral: price was okay, my stylist was easy enough to converse with. Negatives: they do not accept cards as payment. After my hair was done, I got to drive to the ATM down the street and pay a fee to withdraw cash. Connie is such a sweet, amazing woman. And so talented! Like getting your hair done by a family member! So grateful for her. She takes care if young and old, men and women! I met her while caring for a dear friends Mom who was in her 90's. She did such a great job on her hair. And made her feel so good. I would highly recommend The Mane Stop to anyone!!

Connie & Gina have been doing amazing hair together at the cozy Mane Stop forever!!! The color & highlights are amazing. They have fixed my messed up, home color attempts and are awesome. Prices are so much cheaper than Cincinnati or Dayton. Love them, love this shop!
