I wanted to jump on here and give the front office ladies the recognition they deserve, especially Candace! The front staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are able to figure out solutions to my problems quickly and give me many routes. Candace knows how to keep her calm especially when my child comes in and shakes up the place lol Thank you for your patience!!

New patient to Mogadore Eye Care. My wife called in to schedule for me and they were able to get me scheduled for a week out as desired per my personal schedule. First impressions on the outside of the building were professional and welcoming office and upon walking in the impression was that the office was very clean, organized, and welcoming. Any patient will easily know where to go to check in. The receptionist was very friendly even recalling the conversation she had with my wife the day the appointment was scheduled a week earlier. Dr. Honeycutt was a very professional and friendly individual. She didn’t waste a lot of time getting to the exam or performing the exam yet at the same time she listened to me in regards to any input about my eyes. A good and thorough exam with (as far as I know from my experience) modern practices (no “puffs of air” to the eye) and equipment. I hadn’t been in for an eye exam in a few years and I had lost my glasses (thus the reason for going in for an exam now) and so she took the necessary time to learn about my eye history medically. When it came time to choose the new frames for my glasses they had a decent selection of both men’s and women’s frames; Oakleys, ray-bans, SALT, and more. The selection covered the walls of the outer perimeter of the waiting area and included many shelves and a variety of styles to appeal to the modern or conservative taste. The young lady who helped with fitting the frames was kind, polite, and helpful yet didn’t become overbearing with offering input in frame choice and selection. I told her what I liked she offered a few choices and then allowed me to do the rest. When she checked on me in a few moments I had just picked out the ones I liked at which point she proceeded to fit them. They were upfront about out of pocket costs and were informative on what my insurance covered. Pricing on frames was visible and when it came time for add-ons (transitional lenses, glare resistance, etc) they not only offered the service but also the price of it. When it was all said and done they informed it was a roughly 2 week waiting period but in my case the appointment was Tuesday and by Thursday of that same week my glasses were ready for pickup. Due to my work schedule my wife picked them up for me and they informed me that if any adjustments needed to be made to stop in, no appointment necessary. As an add-on; Mogadore Is definitely more the small town feel and big on hometown/ home team pride. Here’s a local business, with a great atmosphere, great Doctor and staff who also go over and above when it comes to picking up your glasses. Glasses came in the case like you’d expect but also neatly packaged in a gift bag and they also included lens cleaner and a custom microfiber cloth with a map of “downtown” Mogadore. Definitely a great local business! Overall visit including, atmosphere, Dr. Honeycutt, staff, practices, timing, and frame selection, were all spot on and I would certainly recommend Dr. Honeycutt and the Mogadore Eye Care to anyone who is seeking an eye doctor.
