Shout out to At Your Service roofing company. The roof on my office building was damaged in the March wind storms. Although I received many recommendations, this company “had me at hello”. A real live person answers the phone. What a refreshing change from leaving messages on voice mail and never getting a return call. At Your Service is a locally owned, small company. Bigger doesn’t always mean better. This company was responsive, thorough and kept their word on everything promised. My roof was replaced today. I obviously can’t see it from the ground, but what I can see driving up Montgomery Rd looks great. I haven’t stopped in to see if the dumpster was picked up yet, or to check on clean up, but based on my experience thus far, I anticipate that completion will also be done with integrity. At Your Service negotiated on my behalf with my insurance company. The sales rep related that the company took a loss of a few hundred dollars when the insurance company stonewalled about some needed extras. Rather than have the job drag on longer than it already had (due to delays by the insurance company), they agreed to take a loss and get my job done. I’m so relieved. It’s so easy to complain. I think it’s important to acknowledge a positive experience, particularly when it’s something as important as replacing a roof.
