I have a porch addition to be added to the front of my house and when I signed a contract I figured that I no longer needed to look for a contractor. As I spoke with the company it was understood that they were very busy and it would be a while before They could start. I told them that was fine as long as it got completed the current year, 2022. My wife and I waited for 6 months with emails being exchanged from time to time. the person I spoke with must have forgotten about my project because his final response was he had placed other projects in front of my by September and may not get to it this year.
