The STATCARE Immediate Care Center of Jackson has friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Courteous and knowledgeable nurse practitioners and doctors provide excellent care. They quickly conduct procedures like x-rays, and take a genuine interest in their patients' needs. The center earns recommendations for its top-notch services.
I've been going here for decades, since it was located in the now pediatric office. I've had good experiences about 90% of the time. Reception, nursing and tech staff are always caring and attentive. There is one doctor that doesn't take the time to do basic exams, or listen to chief complaints, and it's incredibly discouraging. Both myself and my children have been misdiagnosed/brushed off by him, which prolonged our illnesses. Aside from him, every other physician and NP have been really great. Went today with knee pain. The receptionist was personable and polite as was the nurse, but the doctor was disappointing to say the least. I think I saw him in total about 2 minutes. I don’t feel he even listened. I ended up getting x rays which at least confirmed nothing serious (I hope) but basically was told to tough it out and see my family doctor if I don’t feel better. So I just paid good money for next to nothing. Very frustrating and sad after having good experiences here in the past. Will not be going back to this location for anything in the future.
Both times I went in they made me feel worse. I had flu once, probably bronchitis now, and all I got was a lousy t-shirt (at least that's the feeling. Probably will never go back here as they seem to not be cared about anything after they get you in the door.
