“Elaina is the best!! She did my hair for my wedding and she absolutely nailed it. I had a low bun with some wispy pieces to frame it out and everything held up so well. My curls lasted into the next day! She’s really efficient and only took about 30 mins to complete my style.

I also messed up trying to apply fake eyelashes on myself right before I got my hair done and she offered to do them for me! They looked perfect and also lasted into the next day. She truly saved the day for me. I’m so so grateful to Elaina! Best stylist of all time.

Funke is an amazing salon. It's upscale and caters to people of all ages. Young people can emerge with the trendiest styles and older people with whatever they want, trendy or traditional. Funke listens and they are skilled enough to do it all, knowing the latest style trends, products and techniques. My stylist, Kris, is wonderful and I've heard nothing but praise from my friends about other stylists. And to top it off, it's a beautiful space to be in.“

“Since moving to the greater CLE area 2 years ago, I’d yet to find a good spot to get my haircut. I’d had the same person take care of my hair for almost a decade before moving here, and it’d been hard to find anywhere where I felt genuinely comfortable, “listened to” in terms of what I wanted for my hair, and checkin in on as the cut progressed. Yesterday I booked an appointment for a cut and a perm at 6th City and it was everything I’d been looking for in a barbershop/salon and more! Kali did my perm and she was a pleasure to work with! She was super consultative, asked great questions, and was very informative in explaining my options and the perming process. Tim and Casey both took care of my cut itself (a drop fade) both before and after the perm. Tim was super precise, talked with me about doing anything different than the reference picture I shared with him, and he worked as a team with Kali to ensure that my hair would be appropriately prepped for her to perm once he was done. Once my perm was complete, Casey finished my cut off and she did an amazing job carving my fade to perfection and blending it into my perm. The shop looks sharp, the staff are so friendly and work as a true team (not just a collection of barbers and stylists just sharing a space), and my hair looked great when I walked out the door! I finally found my CLE spot for my hair, and I’ll definitely be back!“

“Where do I even begin? Vivian has been doing my hair since I was 4 years old, and I had the pleasure of working with her on my wedding day. Talk about a full circle experience. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the work she did. She encapsulated my vision PERFECTLY- and wasn’t satisfied until I was satisfied. We did some trial & error and she eventually assembled the most perfect (trendy and classic at the same time) bun. It looked SO good in pictures, and somehow the face-layering strands maintained their structure throughout the entire day…which was a miracle. However, that wasn’t the first miracle Viv performed that week. Earlier that week, I went in to get my hair colored. I provided Vivian with a picture of the warm, blonde color that I wanted. She matched the color perfectly (as she does) and it looked great. However, I had a full on PANIC attack later that night because the color didn’t feel like “me.” (For all you Brides out there- don’t deviate from your typical color 4 days before your wedding. Or maybe that’s obvious to everyone except me LOL). Vivian immediately put me at ease & had me come in first thing the next morning to re-color it. After 3 hours and a Hail Mary, the color came out perfect and I felt like “me” again. God bless Vivian for dealing with my Bridezilla ways that week! I’ve been working with Vivian for essentially my entire life, and I have no plans on stopping. Thank you, Vivian, for being the absolute best.She also did my Mom & Sisters’ hair- they looked stunning. And special shout out to John and Jolene for doing an AMAZING job with the Bridal Party! Every single person was thrilled with their hair. Not a single adjustment was made across the whole group!“
