Master Marr's Taekwon-do Martial Arts Schools

“Master Marr's is a great place to learn taekwondo. It is nice that they offer adult and youth classes. You get more physically fit, learn self defense and become part of a special community! I find that doing taekwondo is a great stress reliever. The teachers are excellent! Is it worth trying out some classes. If you can commit to going 2 or more times per week, you will see real benefits.“

“You can't find a better school in the Twinsburg area than Okinawa Karate of Twinsburg. Sensei Brandon and Sensei Stephanie are two of the most dedicated instructors and really take their teachings to the next level. They are legitimate martial arts instructors who truly care for each and every one of their students. Everything you receive here is earned through hard work. I am very glad to have them as instructors and friends. If you are considering learning true traditional Shorin Ryu karate, this is the place for you!“

“IZZAH has an amazing fitness program, mma program and a dedicated coaching staff. My favorite aspect of training at IZZAH was the dynamic (and grueling) mma-fitness training as well as the outstanding boxing training. Very motivating!“

Two Ravens Fencing School Martial Arts Schools

“I was looking for another wait to try to improve my fitness level, and eventually came across Two Ravens Fencing via internet searches. As a suburbanite, I was a little wary about the location, and as a complete novice to martial arts, I was a little concerned about the degree to which I'd embarrass myself. After about a month of attendance, I feel comfortable advising anyone interested in attending that it's safe to disregard both of those concerns. Regarding safety - I attend classes on the weekends and at night. I've never felt unsafe. The parking lot is fenced, and the building is well secured. It's as safe as a facility loaded with swords can be. Regarding the novice issue - Coach Stone and his staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. There are students from a broad range of ranges - from kids to senior citizens - from a broad range of cultural backgrounds. Everyone seems tremendously welcoming. The coaching is incredibly patient. I know I'm endlessly making novice mistakes - and certainly repeating the same ones. In spite of this, the coaches let me make my mistakes, and then work to educate me so that I try to make incremental improvements. Beyond that - this is a ton of fun. It's a fantastic workout, and it teaches all kinds of coordination and situational awareness.“

“Everyone here is fantastic. We have been coming here for my son since Feb 2022 and have since, signed up our daughter, as well. Master Ripepi greets everyone with the warmest smile as soon as they walk through the door and is sure that everyone feels welcome. Master Plain and Master Woide do a fantastic job of running the classes. They not only teach technique, but also the importance sportsmanship, respect, focus and most importantly *Self-Confidence*. I cannot speak highly enough of this school and am grateful for each and every week that we found it.“
