“We have recently ran into a situation where I needed to have a vet for our dog. We called her vet in Zanesville, and every vet in town. No one was able to work her in. Called McConnelsville, and they were not able. Reached out to family in Marietta and they recommended Dr. Kid. I had to wait for a return call, but Dani (who answered phone) was more than willing to ask if they would be able to squeeze her in. This was despite their already busy scheduled day. When I spoke to Dani, I explained everything to her that had been going on. By the time we got there, my dog had we from being lethargic, seeming almost dead, no appetite, to being back to her self. They assured me I was not crazy and they were still willing to see her. They informed me that we would have a wait which I was totally ok with. I could see they were busy. We actually waited about 2 hrs, and I was debating on leaving, Because my dog was doing so much better, but we made the trip she needed to be seen. Although I thought my dog was back to normal, blood work told us otherwise. I don’t believe that we would’ve had a long visit if it hadn’t been our situation where they were working her in. The staff was more than nice. Everyone seemed very, very caring. And I was at their mercy. Dr. Kidd was very thorough and explaining what was going on. Dani was able to help with more questions. Our girl may have a little road ahead of her. We as a family are more than grateful for their willing to squeeze here in. We got answers and a plan. 100% glad we made the drive to this office. I can’t thank them enough.“

Finn has several complicated health issues that we are treating and Dr. Torchia has gone out of her way to make sure we are doing the very best we can for Finn. “I've been taking my furry friends here since I moved to the area over a decade prior, and still go even though it is not at all convenient for me now. The staff have always been super helpful and considerate, and seem to know and remember my kitties even if they don't see them all that frequently (thank goodness!). They were also very compassionate when the time came to put one of them to rest.
Prices are reasonable for the quality of care, and I've never felt pressured or guilted into certain treatment options, nor denied them either. Staff tend to go out of their way to help too, be it recommendations for pet sitters, obtaining old records, offering me bandaids when my cat decided he did Not want to go to the vet, or cleaning out the carrier when another cat litter-ally peed himself. ...gotta love the furry idiots, though.

“My 5yo lab tore both ACLs over the summer. We tried other treatment options with local vets and they failed. We were referred to Dr. Harrison by our vet, and so far has been nothing but great. He had his left leg surgery in October and his right leg fixed yesterday. Office staff is very kind, Dr. Harrison is very kind and seems to be a straight shooter. With the second surgery I’ve already had to reach out via text to Molly and she responded quickly and with solutions and reassurance.
My experience so far has been very positive, and based off my experience, I would recommend them to anyone.“
