I had asked around about tree removal. What I was looking for was a little more thorough review.....so after my experience, I decided to offer one in case it would be helpful. I called several companies. Some were very techno-heavy with cranes and bucket trucks. Those companies came out for estimates and their prices were very high. They also desperately wanted the work and felt almost all the trees in our backyard should be cut down. Another caveat was that they would have to bring their heavy equipment through my neighbor's driveway. Then they said if they did any damage to the neighbor's yard or driveway it would not be covered by their insurance. This left... read full review

Thompson Tree Service took our Locust tree down and my neighbor's tree in the same day. They showed up on time, ready to work. With their bucket truck and chipper, they left virtually no trace of even being here.On top of that, you will not meet nicer people.
