I don’t even know where to begin with this review. All I can say is if you’ve been avoiding the dentist because you’re afraid, anxious, or embarrassed because you’ve let your oral health go, take a deep breath and call Dr. Huffman-Calcei. I have never enjoyed going to any doctors, especially the dentist. My anxiety would get the best of me, and I stopped caring for myself and my health. As a nurse working in the ICU the past years, I didn’t realize how much stress was contributing to my poor oral health. Grinding my teeth, clenching my jaw for 12+ hours, falling asleep absolutely exhausted without brushing, led to a pretty unhealthy and painful mouth. My brother-in-law recommended Dr. Huffman-Calcei and from the moment I spoke with the office staff to make an appointment, to my first time sitting in the exam chair, I started to feel more relaxed about the process ahead. EVERYONE is so patient and kind and really listens to my concerns. I also love that the entire staff is just as funny and sarcastic with me, as I am with them! I am so pleased with the work that I’ve gotten done, and I look forward to continuing my treatments and achieving a confident smile.
Today was my first appointment and the staff was amazing!! They walked me through my entire treatment plan, what needed done and why, and the cost. I am so happy I chose them and will definitely recommend them. Thank Shannon and Dr. Calcei!
