Click 1 for English. Then you are directed to the Philippines where you are suddenly engaged with someone who cannot speak English! Outsourcing Customer Service has been common practice for at least 25 years. At least if you're connected to someone in Bangalore, they actually can speak fluent English and sound as if they were born in Cincinnati. Aside from the irritation and annoyance of the communication disconnect and the fake politeness coming from the person at the other end of the phone, this company is absolutely horrible. It is right down there with United healthcare.

They tell me that my plan was effective on January 1, 2023 and my medical plan card says it was effective on October 1, 2022. I have a bill from the collection agency for x 300. Because the service was on October 20, 2022 and they refuse to pay it

Called trying to find out why my cost for a prescription went up. Was told they couldn't help because the claim wasn't on their system despite the fact it was over 10 days old and showed up on my system. Was told, basically, too bad. No help. Going to change provider next year.
