Amazing, kind, thoughtful, generous, friendly, reliable, prompt—these are only a handful of adjectives that help to describe this fantastic company run by wonderful humans. What’s surprising is that I’m not actually a customer of Klumm Brothers Waste Solutions. But, I truly wish that I could be. I learned of Klumm Brothers through Facebook. I was looking for a local company that might be willing to drive by my home during my child’s garbage truck birthday party. My son is 2 and absolutely obsessed with garbage trucks or “gar gars” as he calls them. Garbage day (Tuesday) is the best day of the week in our house, and we can’t go anywhere or even sleep without a small blue garbage truck and a small blue garbage can. I knew a visit from a truck would be awesome, but my city’s garbage collection department was unable to help us since the party was on a Sunday (Super Bowl Sunday, too!) Two other local companies were also unable or unwilling to make a stop. That’s when I came across Klumm Brothers. It was slightly awkward calling a company I don’t even have an account with. Still, from the moment I first talked to Miguel at Klumm, I knew that they genuinely thought it was a cool idea and genuinely wanted to help make the day of a little garbage-truck-loving guy. Nearly a month ahead of time, we set up a drive-by visit for noon on Super Bowl Sunday. Miguel, who works in the main office, communicated with me about logistics and then confirmed the visit at a couple points leading up to it. He was always so friendly and responsive. On the day of the party, a Klumm Brothers garbage truck pulled up to my house at 11:52 a.m. It was so cool! The driver was an awesome guy named Tom. Both Tom and Miguel were there to greet us, show our little guy the truck, allow us to try the levers and move the packer blade, and even allow us to check out the cab. They visited with us for about 20 minutes, and it was probably the highlight of my little guy’s life thus far. On top of this, they presented our son with two amazingly thoughtful gifts and us with some really cool Klumm merchandise. It really was beyond words as even this ridiculously long review cannot adequately put into words how touched we were by this local company. Miguel shared that the owners of the company, Bob and Ron Klumm, really wanted to do this for our little boy, and this speaks volumes about what this company stands for. If they would extend this kindness to a local family that doesn’t even use their services, what would they do for their customers? Klumm Brothers is an absolute gem, and they brought this mama to tears with their generosity and kindness.

I had a very difficult experience with another said “third party” company that actually hired this company to do the job. When the hiring company did nothing but put me on hold from 10-4pm and I had to investigate the details of my dumpster.... one guy gave me this number as a dispatcher... and long story short this company always answered their phone, never puts me on hold or transfers me to do not pick up line. They compensated me for the time frame the other guys quote... went above and beyond while I was in tears. They work with you, they actually care.. not just another dollar symbol. Thank you
