“About three weeks ago, I noticed the temperature rising in my home and called my usual HVAC company. Despite being a long-time customer, they put me off for several days—and then my A/C completely went out on a Sunday when temps were in the 90s. I called again and was told they were too busy.

That’s when I called E&L Heating—and I’m so glad I did. Within 15 minutes, an emergency service technician arrived, diagnosed the issue, and replaced a failed capacitor to get us back up and running.

Given the age of my system (25+ years), I made the decision to replace both the A/C and furnace. E&L ordered everything promptly and completed the full install last week. They sent out multiple technicians, and the job was done efficiently and with great attention to detail. I worked at Columbia Gas for 10 years, so I recognize excellent workmanship when I see it—and this was impeccable.

“Tech Byron did a fantastic job cleaning my dryer vent. Very professional and courteous. Showed me the pics of the vent at dryer and of it on the roof. This vent goes up to the attic takes a turn to the back then another turn up thru roof. It’s at least 20 feet if not more and he got it nice and clean. Highly recommend“

“I called Five Star Plumbing and Heating Friday afternoon and Kamran came out the following Monday. He gave me a window of time that he would be there and showed up not only on time during that window, but spot on at the start of it. He came in, checked the drains we were concerned about, and helped us clear them. Kamran also recommended some items to us on Amazon that will help us prevent the issue going forward. “Pretty quick response. As a retired plumber, the 2 men that came did a fantastic job. Broken collar on the disposal, snaked the kitchen drain. I just can't get down on the floor anymore so these men worked well together and you can tell they have done this before like surgeons. Decent price and cleaned up well. She went over some common easy fixes I could try to see if it was something easily fixable and wouldn't require a service. When none of the easy fixes were the problem she went through the schedule and worked very hard to get us into a spot right away. “Len's went out of their way to ship in the Trane unit we wanted. Scheduled in April and installed unit as promised. The technicians after install never started it up bc it was still cold out.
As the temp increased our Trane is working fantastically. Techs came out to ensure the refrigerant was at the level prescribed. Happy we have the correct tonage for our home. To keep comfortable and keep the humidity in check, don't get one that's too large that will keep going on and off.

“A solid company. I had so many issues with my less than 6 month newly installed HVAC system from custom comfort, who refused to come out and fix their mistakes. I had Mark, the technician, come out and talk with me about what needed to be remedied in order for my system to work correctly. The static pressure was too high, meaning the amount of supply was too high compared to the amount of return. It was almost double. After some diagnostic testing, he determined how big the return vents needed to be to correlate with the amount of cfm's, and he also determined that there needed to be dampers on each supply run since there weren't any to begin with. The guys came out and installed the appropriately sized vents, ductwork, and installed dampers and a heat run in my kitchen. My system is now working properly, evenly heating my house, and my gas bills are almost in half. They tested my system to ensure everything was working properly and took pictures of diagnostics and their work, so I had it on record as well, which came to be important in my case against custom comfort in Stow municipal small claims court. Needless to say, Sal's is awesome, the technicians and management were great throughout my experience. Will definitely recommend Sal's for any HVAC related issue that needs fixing.
