“This organization is one of the top in the country! The skills they teach our kids go above and beyond karate! They help our kids become the leaders for our future and that says a lot about them. I recommend them very highly!!“
“Started taking my son here a few weeks ago. He loves it and the staff is great with working with small children who lose focus quickly. They just did a renovation and name change, I wish them the best and look forward to enrolling my next kid here“
“I can not say enough good things about the quality of Renshi Kelly as an instructor. My son has attended this dojo for many years and her no nonsense yet caring style has helped him evolve into a fine young man. I highly recommend this dojo for anyone considering enrolling their child.“
“The instructors at Padron Dojo are absolutely wonderful. They make learning martial arts fun and engaging. When my son was frustrated and ready to give up on karate, Shihan Leo Padron exhibited exceptional patience and slowed everything down, ensuring we were all comfortable with each basic move before moving to the next. He did so in a way such that the whole family had fun and left feeling excited for a summer, perhaps a lifetime, full of lessons.Sensei Armondo Washington has been equally encouraging and patient. When I showed up for my first kickboxing/self defense class, I was excited but also nervous. Learning martial arts has been a dream of mine for ages, but I always felt too intimidated, like I wasn't strong enough. Sensei Armondo met me at my level and taught me, not only the basic kickboxing moves, but also what exercises to do to build my strength. He pushes me to be better and do my best, and always in a positive, encouraging way. I've made great strides, and I'm looking forward continuing to grow in strength, confidence and skill.“
“The best Martial Arts dojo in Ohio maybe in USA.Mr Dale is the best coach I have ever met.“
“My son just started 3 weeks and he loves his classes..It’s the teaching and discipline that this place provides is the best.. Keep up the good work to all the instructors may god keep blessing yall.“
“I joined OMAC 14+ years ago, when my son was in elementary school and wanted to try martial arts. As a kid, he eventually lost interest, but I found a lifelong home. I'm now a 4th degree black belt and enjoy it so much, I also became a national level referee and instructor. Great atmosphere and wonderful friendly community.“
“I attended for 6 to 8 years until life took me down different paths some years ago.I can unequivocally say, If you want to learn self-defense not just as a collection of techniques; but learn the concepts and tenets of defending one's self and loved ones then this is The Place. Everything is taught from the aspect of realism. No flashy techniques that look great in a dojo and will get you killed on the street. To get a feel for what is foundational to the school's approach, the following is taught along with effective techniques:* Learning to see threats and avoid them and if necessary be the one conscious and able to call the police and quite possibly EMS if you are alone and attacked.* The ability to walk into a room and quickly see the number and location of objects that could be used as improvised weapons should you need one and how they could be employed. That's just two of many examples of teaching that illustrate the school's broad base of thought on "Self-defense". There is no sport aspect.Techniques are drawn from ju jitsu, boxing, judo, Philipino stick and knife fighting, the fighting system taught to armed forces. What is common sense and useful is taught, what is flashy or overly complicated is not.Instructors are friendly, helpful and not all puffed up with their ego.Class size is small and the atmosphere of learning often results in new friendships being formed.Price is very reasonable compared to other schools that are not nearly as thorough.“
