I've been coming to Selena for more years than I can count and I absolutely love her! She is friendly, explains any new process clearly and has always made me feel comfortable throughout the service. She keeps her studio clean and organized which demonstrates a commitment to hygiene that is crucial in a setting like this. I always have excellent results and literally won't go anywhere else for my waxing needs! Highly recommend.

Here at The Chic Beautique I use mermaid wax which is a hard wax! Hard wax is a lot less painful because it only grabs your hair and NOT your skin, it’s also way faster of a process. Other wax, like soft waxes, not only grabs your hair but it grabs a thin layer of skin causing it to be more painful! So hard wax is definitely the way to go! There are so many benefits that come from getting waxed such as, thinner hair, only having to get waxed once a month versus shaving every other day, less ingrown hairs, no more prickly hairs, and lightning of dark shadows from shaving.
