“STAY AWAY!! The process of getting the roof went ok, however their communication went down hill quickly after the project was done. I'm hoping it was just the sales guy I was dealing with, but he takes WEEKS to respond, and I had to email him multiple times, plus message their Facebook page to get a response. The first time, he spoke so rudely to me on the phone, that I now refuse to communicate outside of email. Our shingles are started to get mildew on them, which shouldn't happen after only two years. When I contacted my sales person, I was told I needed to file a claim through Certain teed myself. Once I figured out how to do that, I realized that I don't have all the necessary information, like number of shingle packs (the phrase is escaping me right now) or roof size. Neither of which were on quote or final. CertainTeed also requires the removal of the mildewy shingle and shipping it to them. Their notes state to replace with a new shingle ASAP as the claim can take weeks. Sales guy said he would check to see if someone there could help. Over a month (and 3 emails from me)...the sales guy said they couldn't help and all of it was my responsibility. They boast about their wonderful warranty and how great they treat customers, but then leave them high and dry. I hope this is just my sales guy and not the company as whole. I have been afraid to write a review for them because of the aggressive communication I have previously received. STAY AWAY.“
