We wanted a brick walkway laid between driveway and garage side door of our home, so we called Schoenbrunn Landscaping thinking they did professional work (mistake #1). They asked for a deposit of 1/2 the estimate to do the job (mistake #2), and a week later sent out a crew of workers that did an absolutely unacceptable job. First of all, the bricks were the incorrect color, and where they needed to be cut in order to fit, they had very visible saw-toothed edges, that made the walkway look absolutely terrible. We told the company owner that the job was unacceptable and that it needed to be re-done. The company owner's response was, and I quote: "we shouldn't really worry if their job wasn't acceptable to us, since we were in the process of selling the house anyway." We allowed him to correct the problem and his staff re-lay the correct bricks (mistake #3). When finished, the second attempt was even worse than the first try (see pictures). 1. Entire walkway was uneven with house2. Walkway was warped in different sections3. Walkway drastically slopped away from driveway4. Bricks are sinking causing unevenness throughout5. Hardly any sand between bricks6. Obvious large post-tumble chips in bricks that should have been turned7. Displaced dirt was unevenly spread around walkway with large stones visible8. After reseeding, straw was placed so thick (in some cases 3 inches deep) that it did not allow germination of new grass and was killing grass already present that did not need covering.9. The workers truck left a large oil stain on our cement driveway. When my wife asked them about it, they responded, and I quote: "soap will take it out".10. The workers left empty water bottles and cigarette butts scattered throughout property.After informing the company owner of all these issues, and that we were very upset with the unprofessional work of his staff, he responded, and I quote: "can I send my staff back to fix problem and get paid?" We informed him firmly that we did not want his staff back on our property to do the work, that he could take back his bricks, and that we wanted our deposit back. We never heard back from him.I am reluctantly posting this, so that anyone else considering this company (Schoenbrunn Landscaping) for a job, is warned of their unprofessional work, staff and owner. I gave one star otherwise I could not post, otherwise they deserve NO stars! Hire them at your own risk!

The selection of bushes was wonderful. Well maintained shrubs. Great prices and the customer service was outstanding, so knowledgeable and helpful. So surprised to find they even offer military discounts!!! Definitely will shop there more.

A nice little garden center with a great selection of shrubs and flowers. Helpful employees on the phone and in person, these are plant people, not folks that might be in the garden center one day and in the plumbing section the next like you might find elsewhere.
