“Love this school! As a business owner I am particular about the work I do and always expect the best results. So happy to have found a school with the same values and expectations. Yes, I am an adult participant, and attended for a short time while in school in the area. I was looking for a great workout and the benefit of self defense skills was a plus. Also, being new to the area, I enjoyed the Village TKD family events. It is a family business with over 30 years of combined experience. They LOVE what they do and always keep it interesting with new workouts, relays and practice skills. Their fees are reasonable compared to other schools. And, they have multiple class times available during the week.Don't wait!!! Start now. I wish I would have 30 years ago or more....“
“My daughter joined 3 years back in the little tiger class, she has been enjoying learning taekwondo from Miss Elizabeth, and we’ve seen the great amount changes in her daily life in terms of discipline, confidence , focus and mental agility!!“
“I attend that school. I tried out in class and it’s great school. Honest they are best in doing the breaking a board. They have a lot fun. Instructors are great. I’m already join that school. Also they have one to one person. I like one to one person. I will get better in Form.“
“Awesome group of people ! From the leadership to the ppl that train there. It appears that anyone who has trained there for some time takes ownership in "how" the classes run. They foster a learning environment and are quick to say "take care of your training partner, we all have to go to work tomorrow." I'm over 50 and I Havent experienced anything that settles your mind better than BJJ. A trusted friend who was going to this gym got me started and his reasoning was that "these are the kind of people that we like to be around." ppl that don't take themselves too serious, work hard, have a good time and no ego. He was correct and I am fortunate to have started at Chitwood. This is the only BJJ gym I've been around, but it's easy to see how the wrong atmosphere could be very intimidating and turn someone off to Bjj altogether. So, If you're thinking about BJJ, I recommend starting with Chitwood. For myself, after a couple months it was obvious that if i didnt enjoy going to class, it will most likely because BJJ isn't for me and not because of the atmosphere or ppl there.“
“My son has been here for several years. The classes are structured and challenging for my son. They provide classes geared towards competition as well, which i believe an important aspect to learn in life. The studio is fairly large compared to others and has a variety of equipment for drills and training. The instructors care about the development and improvement of the students.“
“Thanks to Empower, my daughter has matured, gained more confidence and has found a great support system among the coaches and other kids. Each coach takes the time to truly get to know your child and help them succeed. We have participated in the after school and summer program for nearly a year now and my child looks forward to going every day. We love the different activities offered but most importantly, the family we have gained!“
