Two weeks ago, I called 8 local tree service companies trying to get wood delivered and not only was Tackett the only one that called me back the same day, they were the only company to call me back at all.
Tackett delivered wood for a reasonable and competitive price. Overall, great quality hardwood and very happy with the price. Driver was very professional and dumped it right where I asked. No doubt, I will be using and recommending them in the future!

I've used them three times now since 2019. Been great every time.
1st time: their quote was about half the competitor who seemed to specialize in techy-fashion choices over pricing.
2nd time: their quote was $200 lower than a different competitor who is also great - here I think they could provide a lower price due to a larger/ more capable team (competitor was a one-man show).
3rd time: got a chord of firewood for the lowest price I've found; he took away some rotten wood for free in exchange for a google review (this one).

Hurricane Helene winds came through knocking a large Pine tree on my garage. Called early in the morning, had an estimate and then crews were on site for the removal within 30 minutes. The team was very professional and even took pictures of the damage left on the roof from the tree. I received a call the next day to do a follow up on the service. I’m very satisfied and will use Tackett for all of our tree needs in the future.
