Driving Schools near Dayton

“My 15yo really enjoyed the classroom learning and would often verbally refer back to what he learned while we practiced driving. The driving portion is the reason for the 4 star review. I completely understand the need to develop adequate driving skill, but these kids are not going to be master drivers at the end of 2 driving sessions and 25 hours with parents. My son was taken downtown Dayton for his 3rd driving lesson and covered in sweat when I picked him up. To me, that’s the most difficult driving a person can do. As an adult, I avoid downtown and I have 25+ years experience. I was just trying to get my teen comfortable on city and country roads, with maneuverability and parking prior to testing. It will take more than 6 months experience in my opinion for those more complicated driving skills like downtown, but the instructor made me feel like I was failing by not practicing in those ridiculously high stress areas in the first 3 months.“

Thankful for Sharon who got me in for a few drives with an instructor, when I was losing all hope because no one else I called would take me right now because I’m an adult. I owe so much to her. I’m thankful for John, my driving instructor. He has helped me so much through this process. I’m 29, and my biggest fear has been passing this driving test to get my license, and I’ve been putting it off for so many years. John has been so helpful and kind and supportive and encouraging. I took my test today and passed! It’s such a huge relief off my shoulders and I just could not have been as successful without this school helping me.

“We used AAAA International Driving School, Inc. right off Beechmont. Lots of options for classes for a quick turnaround. Donnetta Sullivan was amazingly personable and knowledgeable!“

“My daughter did her drives with Rob. He was so kind and patient! He made her feel so at ease. Once it was her turn to schedule her lessons, communication was great. We waited about 6 months for our turn. We’d call or email monthly for updates and the staff was always polite and prompt. I can’t stress enough that you have to have patience with this whole process. The staff and drivers are doing their best and once it becomes your child’s turn you’ll be thankful because it’s worth the wait! They even rent out cones to practice maneuverability after their instructed drives! That was a nice surprise. Overall, I’d recommend Wheeler’s but you must practice patience with the process! “I signed my daughter up and she did all the classes on zoom. It’s all pretty much whenever you can do them. You just sign into one. Waiting for drive time does take a little bit, but that’s because they’re very busy and it’s well worth the wait! When you get instructor, it’s awesome. My daughter’s instructor is very friendly and Tells her exactly what she needs to work on. I would recommend this company to anyone! I’m so glad we chose D&D!“
