I cannot recommend Grace at Square One Salon and Spa highly enough - she is fantastic in every way! I booked an appointment with Grace because I'd read several positive online reviews that mentioned not only how well her clients liked the results of their hair appointments but how kind she is, and I had exactly the same experience! Getting your hair done can be a little intimidating, especially if you're going for a big change. We received a gift certificate to Square One from a friend for my 8yo's birthday, as the friend knew my kiddo likes doing "grown up" self care things. The friend suggested this location in particular, as she thought the high number of queer and gender-nonconforming staff would help my gender-expansive kid feel safe and comfortable. She was absolutely right! The space itself is relaxing and elegant, with some perfect quirky touches. Highly recommend this place! I hadn't had my hair done in years and I left feeling great. I was welcomed right as I walked in and quickly brought back with my stylist. Taran did a great job and was very personable. The mini facial during the hair washing was a nice extra also!. I will be back!
