My son is autistic & getting a haircut can b a nightmare, but that was before my son started going to Tala. He is patient, kind & understands some of the barber tools can affect his sensory. Thank you Tala for being such a great barber 💈 & I pray 🙏🏾 you have a long & successful career!

My husband and 7 year old son have been coming to Devil Strip Barbershop for two years. I can not speak highly enough about this establishment and the artists who work here. We are always made to feel welcome, and our business, appreciated. Even when I’ve had to reschedule visits last minute; they’re understanding and happy to reschedule me. No questions asked. The atmosphere is enjoyable, laid back, and there is always good conversation. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is absolutely incredible. Their pictures and all of the positive reviews are proof of that! Huge shout outs to Scotty and Justin! They are top-notch professionals and are fabulous at their craft; my boys always look amazing after their visit. Scotty is great, and makes my husband look real cute for a couple weeks. My son absolutely loves Justin! I appreciate how he treats my son like a VIP when he is in his chair. He respects him, and makes him feel important. He takes his time and treats him like he does any other client. My son is always so proud of his “cool haircut.” That’s the thing, when you schedule a visit with one of these artists, you schedule their time, their energy. They don’t have to talk with you or include you in conversation, especially a young child - but they do, and that’s pretty cool. You get more than just a haircut here, you get respect. My review is overdue, but nonetheless absolutely true. I would recommend Devil Strip Barbershop time and time again - my boys won’t go anywhere else!
