Marty has been doing my hair for 20+ years and always does a great job. I've gone thru short to long hair in that time and it's always a good cut from Marty. He is also flexible and stayed late for me the day before my dad's funeral to tame my unruly, too long hair. I started going to him because he was convenient to my work, I stay because he's good.

I discovered this place by accident. It's a best kept secret in Columbus. Marty is awesome! He has 39 years of experience, but he is still relevant and does a great cut. The price is great. I was surprised how cheap a cut is, nevertheless he took his time and did a great job. I got the sense that he's a humble artisan who loves his work and isn't worried about money, which is why he gets five stars. He is very friendly and interesting. He seems to be flexible with the hours too- he stayed late for me. Glad to discover this hidden gem. The location is a bit difficult to find... basically it's at 460 Oak, between 9th and Washington. The entrance is mid-block by the UPS/FedEx drop boxes.
