We have worked with Northstar canine training for over a year. Tansa came to our home to meet the dogs. Our Rhodesian Ridgeback was just a puppy, so we sent him to Tansa for training. She quickly realized that without our Golden Doodle he shut down. We sent them together after that. We now have a Rhodesian puppy, sending her to Tansa was a no Brainer. Our dogs love her! She is the best of the best!We also board our dogs with her. They love her and her family. They always seem to know when the are going to see her and are excited and happy!Five stars are not enough!

I knew we needed help! Training was a must. My 50lb+ 6 month puppy but going to be a big girl and her jumping up on us and constant desire to bite when playing was going to hurt us if we didn’t jump on it now. I was super worried though to contact a training center. I had heard the nightmares of big brand companies and was sure that private lesson would be out of my price range to board and train. When we finally contacted Tasana it was such a breath of fresh air. She is very down to earth, gave us the time to talk through all our questions and worked with us for a plan that fit not only Nievs training needs but also our budget. We worked with Tasana at Northstar canine training and had our two dogs Zeus and Zoey (boxer x whippet mix and a Shar pei) complete her program. They are both much more manageable and enjoyable now. They respond well to their commands and walk at my side on a standard lead with no drama. We also had her work on them with 'door manners' as they were explosive/obnoxious barkers whenever someone would come to the door. That improvement alone was worth the training. She seemes to genuinely connect and understand the animals and they were both always happy to go to 'dog school'. She also would send me periodic videos of the dogs as they would master a new skill which I enjoyed....read full review
