CityPets was able to schedule a last minute appointment for my dog that was miserable with a suspected UTI. Dr. Chapman spent a lot of time with and did a very thorough exam despite being incredibly busy. She didn’t make me feel like I was asking too many questions and was so kind to my dog. My dog is already feeling better thanks to the meds Dr. Chapman prescribed, and I appreciate the follow up plan she suggested.

They overcharged without giving us the correct number of pills, they overcharged us for his surgery, they missed cancer. They are so unorganized and I wouldn’t trust them with my worst enemies pet

I do not recommend this place. I was taking my kitty here every three weeks for her vaccinations. They charged me $102 for an “exam” and a booster shot when the shot alone only costs $40. The exam was just them looking in her ears and mouth, and weighing her to see if she was “healthy enough” for the shot and it’s ridiculous that it’s required at every appointment in order for her to get a booster. They have a lot of hidden charges and try to find ways to get more money out of you.
Update: It would be nice to be reminded of the charges instead of saying “she’s just getting the booster today right” and completely not mentioning the exam at all. You guys looked at her for no more than 1 minute and called it an “exam” and charged me an extra $60. The previous time I paid $300 bc you guys recommended a test knowing she didn’t truly need. Like previous comments, it seems like this place is more for dogs, not cats.

I have been going to CityPets for over two years now, for both my cat and my dog, and I cannot recommend them enough. When my cat unfortunately passed away earlier this year it was after a very emotional week of emergency visits, and the CityPets staff were so accommodating as I bounced between them, home, and MedVet. They helped us with necessary tests and were so compassionate towards us throughout the whole process. They also sent me a card after my cat passed away, something I didn’t expect, and it really warmed my heart.
The CityPets staff also take excellent care of my dog, Peach. They have gotten us in same day multiple times this year due to unforeseen injuries and took beautiful care of her. They are transparent about treatment plans and keep you well-informed throughout your entire visit.
Overall, one of the best things I did for my pets was start bringing them to CityPets614. The vets, vet techs, assistants, and reception staff are all amazing. Peach says thank you, too!

Had to bring my senior dog to this location to have a tick removed. I called the location at 11am, and was easily able to make an appointment same day at 3:00pm, with no extra fee to be seen on such short notice.
Very, very impressed with this location. The facility itself is extremely clean, in a good location, with plenty of available parking. It’s clear that they take very good care of the place.
My dog is really reactive and reacts poorly at the vet, but the medical staff here were excellent. They went through the extra effort to make sure my dog felt as comfortable as possible.
The receptionists, technicians and veterinarians are fantastic. Very knowledgeable and kind. I’d highly recommend this location.
The cost was very reasonable. For the visit, the tick removal, prescriptions (2 sedatives for next visit, and Bravecto tick/flea oral) I paid $170. I think that’s very fair for the services provided.
All in all, highly recommend 10/10 dog approved, woof woof

We recently had to say goodbye to our sweet boy, Harley, and City Pets took such exceptional care of us through every step that I felt compelled to leave a review.
We had only just switched to City Pets when our 17-year-old dog’s health began to decline. Every single person we interacted with was kind, knowledgeable, and empathetic. Dr. Campbell took her time walking us through our options and was incredibly compassionate as she counseled us through end-of-life considerations for a senior dog like ours. Their support meant the world to us. It helped us truly enjoy Harley’s last couple of months and empowered us to make the call when it was finally time.
When that moment came, they were able to get us in within hours. Once again, the care they showed was extraordinary. The woman at the front desk (I wish I had caught her name) was so kind and brought Harley a five-star snack plate to enjoy while we savored our last few minutes together. Dr. Bishop assisted us, and she—and the entire care team—were unbelievably calm, gentle, and empathetic. My husband and I walked into that appointment full of grief and anxiety, and we left feeling more at peace than we ever expected. I cannot thank the entire 614 team enough for that.

I absolutely love citypets! Their front desk staff is always friendly and polite and it’s super easy to get appointments. I’ve never had to wait more than a week to book anything. Their veterinarians are also incredible and have been nothing but kind and professional to me. I always recommend citypets to my friends and highly suggest it if you’re looking for a new vet in Columbus!

I just adopted my dog from FCDS and took her over right away to CityPets to get checked out! The staff is so kind and amazing with my pup! They always have homemade dog treats for the furry friends, and sent us home with an incredibly sweet goody bag for first time pet owners/new puppy parents!
