I had my haircut by a man hairstylist and at first I was hesitant however, he was extremely charismatic. I wanted a haircut somewhat like the hushcut or a layered haircut. It honestly came out really nicely. I was extremely pleased. I have a lot of hair(I am east asian) and it has always been sort of bulky and dense. He cut it very feathery and I wasn't sure if I liked it at first but he cut it some more and I really liked it! It resembled my picture which was sort of a messy haircut and the process, although a bit long because of the amount of hair I have, an enjoyable one. I've been going to Kyong for haircuts and highlights for over 10 years. I went to college in Texas and would still try to schedule my hair appointments around my trips home. If I ever had to have someone else cut my hair or do highlights in Texas, they always commented on how good the person who did them was. I got a straightening treatment once and the person said "wow who does your highlights? They are impressive!" Literally every single time. I will never go to anyone but Kyong!! The salon is great, friendly and a nice atmosphere. You will not regret going there!!

Karima is great! She knows what she is doing with your hair and always always askew before she cuts it to make sure it is ok before it's gone and can't put it back. Everyone there is very friendly and it's a good environment there as well.
